We love having brunch here. There are so many choices, everyone in the family finds a favorite and today I even tried something new. The fried green tomato tower was amazing!! It doesn't feel as fancy as the downtown location, but the Mimosas were good and our waitress was great.
Christina C was amazing, great and attentive server we will always ask for her! We all loved our food, shrimp and crab dip, mushroom flatbread, smash burger, bibb lettuce chicken appetizer and the fried seafood platter! Drinks were amazing as well, Pecan old fashioned, Queen B cocktail and the Sangria!
While we had to wait a while for service on Saturday night, Christina C took EXCELLENT care of us. Food was amazing and relatively affordable for the quality and portion size. Overall, this was the best restaurant we went to on our whole vacation! Don’t miss out on this place, I overlooked this gem for years! Can’t wait to come back!
My husband and I had lunch here for the very first time today. It was his birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted by a very nice young man who seated us. About 15 minutes later our server came to the table. She didn’t greet us or tell us her name. She took our drink orders and it was clear she was rushing to take our order. To make a long story short, she took our order, we got our food, didn’t see her again until she brought us the bill. She didn’t check on us. No drink refills, no how are you doing - nothing. Our server was Melissa. Her name was on the bill. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have known her name. In spite of the poor service by Melissa, the food was excellent. My husband had the Filet Mignon. I had the Crab Cake Appetizer with the house fries- both excellent! In spite of the poor
service by Melissa , my husband tipped her $20.00. We tipped the young man who seated us and cleared our table after we finished our meals. We also tipped the bartender. The Jacos Sangria was excellent! We showed Melissa grace today , but will make sure she is not our server when we go back because a great experience is not optional, it is required. There are many restaurants I could have taken my husband for his special day. It’s unfortunate that it wasn’t a good experience due to one person. I am still giving 5 stars for the food, the young man who seated us and the bartender.
The food was pretty good, not great. The risotto was very thick and old. Do not order! The pizza with a Balsamic “drizzle” was unusual and not tasty. Just weird flavor combinations.
Our server had a terrible (and really gross) habit of constantly touching (wiping) the sides of her mouth while she was talking. She also had really long (🤢) fingernails (nearly 2” long). How many people fully scrub (with a nail brush) to clean under their nails, every time they wash their hands? VERY few, if any. Those long nails are a Petri dish for germs.🤮 She was a sweet, friendly, young lady but those lonnnnnng nails and constantly touching her face really put a damper on enjoying our meal. Also, she rarely checked on us, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Another server (for a table across from us) was super attentive to her customers and she helped us several times, even though she was not our server. Personally, I would not bother going back to this restaurant.
Common food, nothing special but on the pricey side. Great service. Decent atmosphere,a bit empty, live artists outside
We were visiting a church in the area and looking for a place to eat - thanks Google! Our wait was about ten minutes, which wasn't bad since there was a slight lunch rush after we arrived. Our waitress had a great attitude and checked in on us regularly. The food was also great. They had $3 bloody Mary's for brunch.
First started out with fried crab cakes and the fries. The crab cakes were okay at best- $25 for 2 small cakes. The chicken scallopini was NOT good. No salt or pepper. Everything was kind of thrown together. No flavor..The smash burger was also not seasoned. The staff was very friendly and the manager tried to make it right however there was no saving this meal. First time here and was disappointed. For 730 on a Saturday it was completely dead inside
